Fame praises K27 after 0-3 PGL Astana exit
Petr “fame” Bolyshev, on loan to K27 through the end of May, praised the young roster and noted “crazy” practice highlights after the team’s 0-3 elimination at PGL Astana.
Petr “fame” Bolyshev joined K27 on a short-term loan through the end of May and spoke after the team’s 0-3 exit from PGL Astana in Astana, Kazakhstan. He highlighted strong individual moments in practice and described the stint as a return to tier-one competition.
K27 finished the event winless, losing tight matches to Gentle Mates and magic. Fame said the matches were close and that the squad will review their games to identify areas to fix.
The appearance in Astana was his first tier-one event since IEM Chengdu 2025. The loan aimed to give him LAN playing time after he was benched by Virtus.Pro; the benching was a mutual decision following poor results and mental strain.
Fame explained his personal objective for the loan was to demonstrate form and attract interest from other teams.
My goal was to come to a tier-one event, to show myself, because I’m sitting on the bench and I have nothing to do,
he said.
He praised the team’s preparation in Astana, noting two weeks of intensive practice from morning to night. He described the locker-room atmosphere as upbeat and said he tried to help the younger players with mental and tactical support.
Fame singled out three K27 players on prospect lists-qw1nk1, kashl1d and xeedo-citing their individual skill in practice and matches. He recalled seeing “crazy highlights” and added that some plays left him surprised.
On his next steps, fame plans to return to Moscow and then go home to rest with family unless he remains with K27 through May. After that he intends to play individually and stay available for offers while he waits for any updates from Virtus.Pro.
Fame described the overall feeling after Astana as mixed: he valued the competition and the players’ flashes of performance but did not welcome the 0-3 scoreline.
