Alliance, Razer extend partnership through 2027
Alliance extended its partnership with Razer through 2027, keeping Razer as main sponsor and exclusive peripheral partner while continuing use of Razer Pro gear and R&D collaboration.
Alliance extended its partnership with Razer through 2027, naming Razer the organization’s main sponsor and exclusive supplier of gaming peripherals.
Under the two-year renewal, Alliance players and content creators will continue to use Razer’s Pro line. The deal covers joint product research and development, with professional players providing feedback to inform future hardware, and includes joint promotional activity and support for Alliance’s competitive operations through the end of 2027.
Fans can expect behind-the-scenes content from Alliance bootcamps, digital and physical giveaways, meet-and-greet sessions at major Tier-1 esports events, and upgrades to Alliance’s training facilities using Razer technology. The agreement specifies that players will use the same peripheral setup in practice and in competition.
The partnership began in 2013, the year Alliance was founded and the organization won The International 3 in Seattle using Razer gear. The teams parted briefly before Razer rejoined in 2019 when Alliance reorganized as a fully player-owned organization. Since then Razer has supported Alliance across Dota 2, Apex Legends and Counter-Strike.
Alliance has expanded its commercial roster over the past year. In December 2025 the organization signed a partnership with crypto casino Gamdom to support its Apex Legends and Counter-Strike 2 teams with bootcamps, performance coaching and international competition. In September 2025 Alliance renewed its deal with web3 game Valhalla for a second year. In June 2025 Alliance named OBSBOT as its official camera partner to boost content production.
Jonathan “Loda” Berg, Alliance co-founder and chief executive, said, “Razer isn’t just a sponsor; they are part of our DNA. They were there when I was a captain and IGL in 2013, and they were the first to believe in us when we went independent in 2019. To extend this for another two years is a testament to a decade of shared values. Our players demand the best, and with Razer, we know they have the tools to win.” Jeff Chau, Razer’s global esports director, added that Alliance has maintained a player-first philosophy while competing at the highest level and that the partnership is focused on giving players a competitive edge with gear used by top professionals.
