Alliance extends Void Gaming partnership into third year

Alliance extended its partnership with Japanese controller maker Void Gaming for a third consecutive year.

Alliance has extended its partnership with Japanese controller maker Void Gaming for a third consecutive year. The collaboration began in March 2024 when Void became the primary sponsor of Alliance’s Apex Legends team and covers both supplier and sponsorship roles.

Void has supplied Alliance players with custom-built controllers designed for competitive performance at international events and championship campaigns. The organisations have run community activations online and at live events.

During the previous Apex Legends Global Series season finals in Sapporo, Japan, the partners released a limited controller collection inspired by the Japanese wind gods Raijin and Fujin.

Both organisations confirmed plans to develop new projects for the coming season, including community activations, joint initiatives and additional custom controller designs. Financial terms of the renewal were not disclosed.

Kelly Ong, chief strategy officer and co-owner of Alliance, commented, “Entering Year 3 together is something we are incredibly proud of. Void Gaming has consistently delivered products and support at the highest level for our players while helping us create experiences our community genuinely connects with. We’re excited to continue building together and pushing even further this coming season.”

Takuto Ishii, chief operating officer of Void Gaming, added, “We are very happy to continue our partnership with Alliance. Over the past years, Alliance has established itself as one of the strongest and most passionate organizations in Apex Legends esports. We are honored to continue supporting their players and community moving forward.”

The renewal follows other commercial deals for Alliance. Last month the organisation extended its agreement with peripheral maker Razer for two years, keeping Razer as Alliance’s main sponsor and exclusive peripheral partner through 2027. Earlier, Alliance signed a partnership with Gamdom to support its Apex Legends and Counter-Strike 2 rosters.

The organisations said projects and community events are planned for the upcoming competitive season.
