XertioN leads MOUZ to second straight PGL Astana win over G2
XertioN led MOUZ to a second straight PGL Astana win over G2, posting a 20-4 CT half on Inferno after an OT loss on Dust2 and a Mirage comeback.
MOUZ defeated G2 in a three-map series at PGL Astana. Dorian “xertioN” Berman, the team’s newly appointed in-game leader, posted a 20-4 CT half on the Inferno decider. MOUZ lost the opener on Dust2 in overtime and won Mirage to force the decider.
On Dust2 xertioN was the team’s top performer despite the overtime loss. On Mirage MOUZ trailed 7-10 on the CT side before winning enough rounds to take the map. On Inferno MOUZ led 20-4 on the CT side and closed the match.
Across the series xertioN finished with 57 kills and 48 deaths, a 1.29 rating, 95.7 average damage per round (ADR) and a 71.2% KAST. He had also recorded a 1.52 rating in MOUZ’s earlier match at the tournament against Gentle Mates. Ádám “torzsi” Torzsás had 61 kills and 41 deaths, a 71.5 ADR and a 1.27 rating.
Adrian “xelex” Vincze totaled 42 kills and 45 deaths, 61.0 ADR and a 76.7% KAST for a 1.05 series rating; he produced a 1.67-rated performance on Mirage. Justinas “jL” Lekavicius finished with 42 kills and 47 deaths, 67.2 ADR and a 0.95 rating. Lotan “Spinx” Giladi had 47 kills, 51 deaths, 72.8 ADR and a 1.03 rating.
For G2, Matúš “MATYS” Šimko had 52 kills and 54 deaths, 77.3 ADR and a 1.09 rating. Guy “NertZ” Iluz finished 51-54 with an 81.8 ADR and a 1.05 rating. Álvaro “SunPayus” García posted 46 kills and 47 deaths with a 64.6 ADR and a 1.01 rating. Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko recorded 41-49, 63.6 ADR and a 0.87 rating, while Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač had 36 kills and 50 deaths, 52.2 ADR and a 0.68 rating.
The result is MOUZ’s second consecutive win at PGL Astana.
