Vitality’s Paris headquarters vandalized during protests

Vitality’s Paris headquarters was vandalized during protests, with windows smashed and chairs burned. Social media posts suggested the team’s StarLadder StarSeries trophy was stolen, but the claim was unconfirmed.

Vitality’s V.HIVE headquarters in Paris was vandalized during demonstrations in France over education standards and the rising cost of living. Windows were smashed, and gaming chairs were thrown onto a fire, according to images and videos posted online.

The posts also suggested that Vitality’s StarLadder StarSeries trophy had been stolen. The claim was not independently confirmed.

The office manager reported that no one was injured. The headquarters was closed to the public and Vitality staff when the vandalism occurred.

Vitality CEO Fabien “Neo” Devide addressed the incident in a post on X, writing that the damage had left him with “a lot of sorrow” while defending the right to protest.

“The right to demonstrate is a fundamental freedom that I will defend all my life,” Devide wrote. “Thank you to those who mobilize for their convictions. But looting and destruction should never have a place in these fights.”

The vandalism occurred during wider unrest in France. Students have protested in recent weeks over staff shortages and poorly maintained facilities in the country’s lycées, secondary schools generally attended by students ages 15 to 18.
