Ubisoft, Xbox Game Pass Renew Rainbow Six Siege Esports Deal
Ubisoft renewed a two-year deal with Xbox Game Pass for Rainbow Six Siege and BLAST R6 esports for 2026–27, adding Xbox branding at majors and subscriber in-game rewards starting June 2026.
Ubisoft has renewed a two-year partnership with Xbox Game Pass for Rainbow Six Siege and BLAST R6 esports covering the 2026 and 2027 competitive seasons. The agreement, carried out with tournament organizer BLAST, will bring Xbox branding to major events and introduce in-game benefits for Game Pass subscribers beginning June 2026.
The renewed collaboration will officially begin at the BLAST R6 Salt Lake City Major in May, coinciding with the return to a two-majors-per-year schedule for Rainbow Six esports. Ubisoft said Xbox Game Pass branding and activations will appear at several high-profile events across 2026 and 2027, including the November Major in Japan and the Six Invitational 2026 in Brazil.
Ubisoft and Xbox Game Pass plan to host community activities at selected tournaments. Fans attending those events can expect meet-and-greet opportunities with creators and exclusive giveaways. In addition to physical activations, Xbox Game Pass subscribers will receive in-game rewards for Rainbow Six Siege starting in June 2026. Ubisoft said it will disclose specific items and timing during the 2026 Rainbow Six esports season.
The partnership with Xbox Game Pass follows an initial collaboration announced in May 2025, when Game Pass joined as an official partner for the 2025 Rainbow Six Siege X and BLAST R6 season. Separately, BLAST and Ubisoft extended their esports agreement through the 2028/29 season.
François-Xavier Deniele, Ubisoft’s vice president of marketing and esports for Rainbow Six, welcomed the renewal and said the deal will let Ubisoft continue offering new activations and in-game benefits to players and esports fans.
