Tundra sells TI-winning Dota 2 roster to 1w
Tundra Esports sold its Dota 2 roster — 33, bzm, Pure, Ari, Whitemon — and coach MoonMeander to 1w; Tundra has not announced plans to rebuild or exit Dota 2.
Tundra Esports announced the sale of its entire Dota 2 roster and coach to organization 1w on the club’s official social media channels. The announcement confirmed the lineup transfer but did not include financial terms or a timetable for the move.
The players moving to 1w are 33, bzm, Pure, Ari and Whitemon. Coach MoonMeander will continue with the group in his role under 1w. The same core delivered Tundra’s major results, including a win at The International 2022 and tournament victories at BLAST Slam III, BLAST Slam IV, BLAST Slam V, DreamLeague Season 28 and ESL One Birmingham 2026.
Tundra entered the Dota 2 scene in 2021. The organization has not confirmed whether it will field a new roster, scale back its Dota 2 activities or leave the discipline entirely. 1w had not issued a statement at the time Tundra posted the sale.
Tundra’s posts emphasize that the full lineup has been acquired by 1w. The players and coach are expected to compete under 1w at future events, subject to tournament registration rules and any contractual conditions that may be disclosed later.
