Teamfight Manager 2 launches on Steam Early Access
Korean studio Team Samoyed has released Teamfight Manager 2 on Steam Early Access, an esports management sim built around a fictional MOBA with autobattler-style automated matches.
Team Samoyed released Teamfight Manager 2 on Steam Early Access in late May 2026. The game places players in charge of a virtual esports organization and resolves matches automatically in an autobattler-like format on a MOBA-style map.
Matches follow a full MOBA structure with Top, Jungle, Mid, Bot and Support roles and a win condition tied to destroying the enemy Nexus. During matches, selected champions execute orders and fight over objectives while combat outcomes are resolved without direct player control.
The management layer covers scouting, signing contracts, setting tactics, and managing bans and picks. The game includes algorithm-driven systems that track player stats, a simulated ranked solo queue, practice habits and form. Those metrics affect recruitment and lineup choices.
Teamfight Manager 2 expands on the 2021 original with dozens of new champions alongside returning characters and a deeper tactics system. At Early Access launch the core gameplay loop, a complete champion roster, team management features and an online league mode are available.
The developer added Steam Workshop support so players can create and share custom champions, maps, teams and tournaments. Team Samoyed plans to add more champions, broaden management features and adjust balance during Early Access based on community feedback.
The game includes appearances by familiar esports names, such as IgNar and Mowgli, in promotional material and the in-game roster. Early user reviews on Steam are mixed; the studio’s 2021 title holds a Very Positive rating near 83 percent on the platform.
Teamfight Manager 2 joins several recent esports and sports management titles on Steam. Another management game released last year includes licensed real-world organizations and players, reflecting multiple entries in the management-simulator space.
