T1 finalized a contract extension for CEO Joe Marsh, keeping him as inside director through March 30, 2029, after the organization returned to positive operating profit.
T1 finalized a contract extension for Chief Executive Officer Joe Marsh that keeps him as CEO and an inside director through March 30, 2029. The board approved an initial motion on March 16 and formally ratified the executive resolution on April 3.
Marsh became CEO in October 2019 after a structural merger between SK Telecom and Comcast Spectacor. He joined T1 following a role as chief business officer for the Overwatch League franchise Philadelphia Fusion and has led the organization since the merger.
Under Marsh’s tenure, T1 reached four League of Legends World Championship finals and completed a run of three consecutive world titles. The organization operates high-profile teams in League of Legends and other esports titles.
T1 reported a return to positive operating profit in 2025. Merchandise sales generated about ₩74.13 billion (approximately $48.93 million) from jerseys, team apparel and branded goods. Sponsorship and advertising revenue, including partnerships with fashion brand ABLY and Red Sea Global, contributed roughly ₩14.51 billion (about $9.58 million).
The board’s extension preserves the current executive leadership while the organization continues its commercial activities and competitive programs. The appointment maintains Marsh’s responsibilities as an inside director through the end of March 2029.
T1 remains based in South Korea and continues to pursue revenue growth and competitive participation across its teams and commercial partnerships.
