Suzuki named top partner for CAPCOM CUP 13

Suzuki will be the top partner for CAPCOM CUP 13 and sponsor 2026 Street Fighter events, including Street Fighter League and the World Championship at Ryogoku Kokugikan.

Suzuki Motor Corporation will be the top partner for CAPCOM CUP 13 and will sponsor several 2026 Street Fighter events, including Street Fighter League: Pro-JP 2026, CAPCOM Pro Tour 2026 Premier, CAPCOM Pro Tour 2026 World Warrior Japan and Street Fighter League: World Championship 2026. CAPCOM CUP 13 and the World Championship are scheduled for Ryogoku Kokugikan in Tokyo.

The company described the expanded sponsorship as part of its esports activity for the 2026 season. Suzuki has been involved with Street Fighter tournaments since the previous fiscal year and will appear across tournament stages and promotional activities tied to the CAPCOM Pro Tour and league competitions.

Suzuki displayed two collaboration motorcycles at global events: the GSX-8R Tuned by JURI and the Hayabusa Tuned by JURI. The GSX-8R model also appears within Street Fighter 6’s Battle Hub mode as a digital model players can view. Suzuki noted those activations were intended to introduce motorcycles and riding culture to people who may not otherwise encounter them at live shows.

Takashi Ise, Managing Executive Officer and General Manager of Suzuki’s Motorcycle Business Division, stated in a translated comment: “The esports industry continues to accelerate, showing unprecedented enthusiasm. At CAPCOM CUP 12 in March of this year, we witnessed the moment when that energy reached its absolute peak at Ryogoku Kokugikan. In order to further amplify our resonance with this wonderful community and rise together to the next stage, we have decided to ‘strengthen’ our partnership with Capcom Co., Ltd.”

Suzuki expanded its esports activity in 2025 by sponsoring the Evolution Championship Series and participating in Tokyo Game Show 2025. The company did not disclose financial terms for the CAPCOM CUP 13 partnership or provide detailed plans for additional activations beyond what has been announced.
