Roberta Coelho named CBO at Spun Mídia to oversee MIBR
Roberta Coelho will be Spun Mídia’s Chief Business Officer, overseeing esports commercial strategy while keeping responsibility for MIBR’s brand, communications and market relations.
Roberta Coelho, the former CEO of esports organisation MIBR, has been appointed Chief Business Officer at Brazilian media group Spun Mídia. In the role she will lead strategic development and commercial operations across the company’s esports properties and remain responsible for MIBR’s brand strategy, corporate communications and market relations.
Coelho will join Spun Mídia’s counseling body and work through Ezor, a brand house created by the holding company to manage its esports assets. The company announced the appointment as part of a governance change that places executive direction at the holding-company level rather than in a standalone MIBR chief executive post.
Competitive performance and daily esports operations for MIBR will be handled by Alexandre “Kakavel” Peres, chief executive of Ezor. Coelho’s remit is focused on commercial positioning, partnerships and external relations across the group’s portfolio.
Spun Mídia completed its full acquisition of MIBR in October 2025 and set up Ezor to manage both MIBR and sister organisation LOS within a single operational structure. The group outlined an investment roadmap of R$100 million, about $18.5 million, to be deployed through 2030 to support integration and growth of its esports assets.
The company also named Ítalo Mingoni as Chief Revenue Officer; he joins from AdSeleto, a programmatic media firm he co-founded and led. Late in 2025 LOS appointed Bruno “Buzz” Rodrigues as chief operating officer and shifted broader marketing duties to Spun Mídia.
Coelho joined MIBR in 2021. Before that she worked nearly nine years at the Rock in Rio music festival, holding roles including chief financial officer and head of business development.
