REJECT partners with Ajinomoto to support player nutrition
Ajinomoto will provide nutrition guidance and support to Japanese esports team REJECT to improve player health and promote diet education across the gaming community.
Japanese esports organization REJECT announced a sponsorship agreement with Ajinomoto Co., Inc. under which Ajinomoto will provide nutritional support to REJECT players and run diet education programs for the gaming community.
REJECT described the partnership as a plan to integrate dietary guidance into players’ daily routines to support health and performance, citing that daily habits and living conditions can affect competitive results.
“Since its founding, REJECT has approached esports as a competition and focused on building teams that can compete globally. We welcome working with Ajinomoto to support players through nutrition and raise interest in food across the gaming community,” Shoya Koyama, Representative Director of REJECT, said.
Ajinomoto confirmed it will work with REJECT to deliver nutritional support and educational initiatives. The company confirmed a sponsorship with EVO Japan 2026 last month that focuses on the health and performance of players, staff, competitors and event attendees.
“We are pleased to partner with REJECT and expand our esports efforts. We will strengthen support for esports athletes from a food perspective so more people can enjoy games for a long time,” Takuya Nonaka, eSports Business Development Manager at Ajinomoto Co., Ltd., added.
The REJECT-Ajinomoto agreement follows recent commercial developments for REJECT, including a renewed team sponsorship with NURO in April 2026 and new financing from Mizuho Bank in December 2025 to support long-term growth and possible mergers and acquisitions.
REJECT and Ajinomoto did not disclose program timelines or financial terms. The organizations said the collaboration will focus on player nutrition and community education.
