PGL reduces 2028 calendar to six tournaments
PGL has reduced its 2028 schedule from eight tournaments to six, with a combined investment of $11 million. The events will run from Jan. 14 through Oct. 16.
PGL’s revised 2028 calendar includes six tournaments scheduled between January 14 and October 16. The combined investment across the events is $11 million.
PGL #1 will run from January 14 to 24, followed by PGL #2 from February 9 to 21. PGL #3 is scheduled for March 23 to April 3, while PGL #4 will take place from April 19 to May 1.
The final two tournaments are scheduled for August 31 to September 11 and October 4 to 16. PGL has not announced locations for the events.
The organizer had previously announced eight tournaments for 2028. The revised calendar removes events planned for August 16-28 and November 1-13. The August dates overlapped with the usual period for the CS Asia Championships.
