PGL Astana QFs: MOUZ vs Aurora opens playoffs

MOUZ faces Aurora at Barys Arena in Astana on May 15, 2026, to open the PGL Astana quarter-finals. The single-elimination matches will determine which teams advance to the semi-finals.

The quarter-final schedule at Barys Arena is set for local times: MOUZ v Aurora at 07:05, Spirit v G2 at 10:20, 9z v magic at 13:25 and FURIA v Falcons at 17:40. All four matches are knockout fixtures following the tournament’s group stage.

Group-stage statistics highlight several players. For 9z, Ignacio “meyern” Meyer finished with a 49-33 K-D, 79.9 ADR, 73.8% KAST and a 1.28 rating. Matias “HUASOPEEK” Ibañez posted a 44-41 K-D, 77.6 ADR, 75.4% KAST and a 1.14 rating. Luciano “luchov” Herrera recorded a 46-40 K-D, 82.5 ADR and a 1.13 rating.

On magic, Andrey “AW” Anisimov led with a 53-38 K-D, 85.2 ADR, 75.4% KAST and a 1.25 rating. Svyatoslav “MaSvAl” Masko had a 37-39 K-D, 68.6 ADR, 73.8% KAST and a 1.08 rating. Nikita “tenzy” Kochenyuk posted a 39-44 K-D, 62.9 ADR, 70.5% KAST and a 1.00 rating.

Spirit’s Danil “donk” Kryshkovets finished the group stage with a 36-29 K-D, 87.9 ADR, 76.7% KAST and a 1.42 rating. Dmitry “sh1ro” Sokolov had a 37-18 K-D, 83.8 ADR, 81.4% KAST and a 1.33 rating.

For G2, Álvaro “SunPayus” García posted a 39-27 K-D, 88.3 ADR, 76.7% KAST and a 1.27 rating. Nikita “HeavyGod” Martynenko recorded a 26-33 K-D, 81.7 ADR, 67.4% KAST and a 1.07 rating. Matúš “MATYS” Šimko had a 19-32 K-D, 59.3 ADR and a 0.84 rating. Guy “NertZ” Iluz posted a 24-34 K-D, 60.1 ADR and a 0.73 rating. Nemanja “huNter-” Kovač finished with a 19-31 K-D, 49.6 ADR and a 0.66 rating.

PGL Astana is part of the season’s international circuit. Group-stage results qualified the eight teams for the quarter-finals, and the winners of the four matches at Barys Arena will move on to the semi-finals. All quarter-final matches take place on the same day, with teams playing under a single-elimination format.
