Parken Challenger Championship Organizer Files Bankruptcy

New Breed Agency ApS filed for bankruptcy and canceled the nine remaining Parken Challenger Championship events scheduled for 2026 after funding talks failed.

New Breed Agency ApS, the organizer of the Parken Challenger Championship, has filed for bankruptcy and canceled the nine remaining events scheduled for 2026. The filing comes less than two months after the organizer announced plans to expand the circuit and increase prize pools.

Tournaments from Parken Challenger Championship 9, due at the end of June, through the rest of the year will not take place. The planned expansion would have increased team fields from 18 to 24 and raised prize pools from €10,000 to $25,000. The circuit had been scheduled to conclude with a stadium LAN finals event in Copenhagen at year-end.

Management, shareholders and partners pursued additional funding and alternative solutions but did not secure a viable option to continue operations. The company’s statement read: “Over the past several months, management, shareholders, and partners have worked extensively to secure additional funding and explore alternative solutions that could allow the company and its projects to continue operating. Unfortunately, despite these efforts, a viable solution could not be reached. As a result, the company is no longer able to continue its operations or fulfill its future commitments, leaving no responsible alternative but to commence bankruptcy proceedings.”

New Breed Agency acknowledged outstanding obligations tied to completed events and ongoing operations. The statement noted that creditor matters and outstanding claims will be handled under applicable bankruptcy law and supervised by the appointed bankruptcy estate, and that affected stakeholders will be contacted directly with further information.

Earlier on Saturday, Esplay and Barstool Production announced a suspension of operational involvement in the circuit. Several professional teams, including GamerLegion, 100 Thieves, B8 and BC.Game, competed at the Crowne Plaza Copenhagen Towers during the first half of 2026, and STATE won the most recent Championship event held May 23–24.

Some teams have not yet received prize money from events already held. New Breed Agency’s acknowledgment of outstanding obligations indicates those claims and other creditor requests will be considered through the formal bankruptcy process as the estate administrator begins reviewing claims.
