paiN ousts TYLOO 2-1 at CS Asia Championships

paiN eliminated TYLOO 2-1 in the Group A lower bracket at the CS Asia Championships and will play MOUZ on May 22 for a place in the playoffs.
paiN won the opening map, Mirage, 13-5. Vinicius “vsm” Moreira and João “snow” Vinicius led the attack as the Brazilians established control early and closed the map comfortably.
TYLOO answered on Nuke. Dongkai “Jee” Ji sealed that map with a 1v3 clutch to extend the series to a decider.
On Overpass, paiN won the pistol and built a 7-5 lead at halftime. After the side swap, TYLOO failed to regain momentum. Guilherme “piriajr” Barbosa won a key early 1v2, and Rafael “saffee” Costa finished the match with an AWP ace to clinch the series for paiN.
TYLOO opened the event with a best-of-one victory over MOUZ but dropped to the lower bracket after two overtime losses to Legacy in the upper bracket. They won Nuke against paiN but lost on Mirage and could not recover on Overpass.
Individual statistics highlighted paiN’s top performers. João “snow” Vinicius posted 51 kills with a 91.7 ADR and a 1.25 rating. Vinicius “vsm” Moreira had 46 kills, an 88.3 ADR and a 1.28 rating. Rafael “saffee” Costa added 38 kills and a 1.17 rating. Rodrigo “biguzera” Bittencourt recorded 43 kills and an 80.3 ADR while Guilherme “piriajr” Barbosa finished with 29 kills.
For TYLOO, Jingxiang “Mercury” Wang led with 41 kills and an 86.0 ADR, finishing 41-46 in kills and deaths and a 1.10 rating. Qianhao “Moseyuh” Chen had 37 kills, Su “Zero” Jingshen 35 kills, Yi “JamYoung” Yang 37 kills and Dongkai “Jee” Ji 33 kills; their ADRs and ratings were recorded below paiN’s top three figures.
With the win, paiN advances to the next match against MOUZ on May 22, where the winner will secure a spot in the CS Asia Championships playoffs. TYLOO’s tournament run ends with the loss.
