NiP win 1win Private Club S1, first title with Krimbo

Ninjas in Pyjamas defeated GamerLegion 3-1 in the best-of-five grand final to win 1win Private Club S1. NiP took Ancient 19-17, dropped Nuke 14-16, then closed the match with Cache 13-6 and Mirage 13-9.

The title is NiP’s first with Karim ‘Krimbo’ Moussa as in-game leader. Krimbo joined the team on loan from BIG and replaced Marco ‘Snappi’ Pfeiffer in the leadership role at the start of September.

Across the event NiP recorded the highest T-side round win percentage at 57.5%. Krimbo and Kacper ‘xKacpersky’ Gabara both averaged a 1.18 rating for the tournament. Martin ‘stavn’ Lund produced a standout performance on Cache in the final, posting a 1.84 map rating in NiP’s 13-6 win on that map.

Adam ‘adamb’ Ångström and Rasmus ‘sjuush’ Beck provided further contributions for NiP in the match. For GamerLegion, Fredrik ‘REZ’ Sterner recorded the highest event rating for his team at 1.13, while Janusz ‘Snax’ Pogorzelski and other teammates posted lower ratings in the final.

The result affected the VRS standings: Ninjas in Pyjamas moved to No. 27 and GamerLegion rose to No. 26, with both teams climbing 13 places after the event. EYEBALLERS dropped five places and Alliance fell six places in the VRS list.

The win is NiP’s first trophy with Krimbo directing in-game and changes the team’s VRS position ahead of upcoming events.
