MOUZ, Spirit, Magic and Falcons reach PGL Astana semifinals

The PGL Astana 2026 quarterfinals concluded with MOUZ, Spirit, Magic and Falcons winning their series to reach the semifinals. MOUZ and Spirit won 2–0, while Magic and Falcons each won 2–1.

MOUZ defeated Aurora 2–0 while fielding a new roster. Aurora pushed the first map to a close finish, but MOUZ secured the opening map and produced a clearer margin on the second to close the series.

Spirit beat G2 2–0. G2 failed to find rhythm in the series and Spirit closed the tie in consecutive maps. Spirit player donk finished as the top individual scorer for the match.

Magic won a three-map series against 9z, 2–1. Magic took the first map, 9z answered with a 13–2 victory on the second map to force a decider, and Magic prevailed in a tight final map.

Falcons edged FURIA 2–1 in a series that went the distance. Each team lost the other’s map pick and the deciding map required three overtimes before Falcons secured the win.

Organizers are expected to confirm semifinal pairings and the match schedule. The four semifinalists will return to the event stage to compete for a place in the final.
