MongolZ reach CS Asia quarters after 2-0 win over PARIVISION

MongolZ beat PARIVISION 2-0 at the CS Asia Championships on May 22 to reach the quarterfinals and will face Legacy later today.

On Mirage, PARIVISION led 9-3 at halftime but MongolZ mounted a second-half comeback. Usukhbayar “910” Banzragch finished 34-20 with an 83.6 average damage per round (ADR) and a 1.49 rating, including a clean M4A4 quad kill while holding A. Sodbayar “Techno” Munkhbold posted 31-19 and a 1.23 rating. Garidmagnai “bLitz” Byambasuren recorded a team-high 98.6 ADR and a 1.20 rating.

PARIVISION struggled on their map pick, particularly on the T side, where the team had difficulty securing opening kills and converting force-buy phases. Dzhami “Jame” Ali was the top performer with a 34-24 line and a 1.46 rating. Emil “nota” Moskvitin went 24-33 with a 0.73 rating, Ivan “zweih” Gogin recorded 22-29 and a 0.83 rating, Vladislav “xiELO” Lysov was 12-34 with a 0.59 rating, and Andrey “BELCHONOKK” Yasinskiy posted 23-30 and a 0.91 rating.

Player cams captured Dastan “dastan” Akbayev arguing with Moskvitin after an earlier map victory during the tournament. PARIVISION will enter a scheduled player break ahead of the upcoming Major.

MongolZ return to the playoff stage after a below-par showing at PGL Astana. Their quarterfinal match against Legacy will determine who advances to the semi-finals at the CS Asia Championships.
