MIBR’s Insani: Bootcamp Renewed Team After 3DMAX Win

MIBR opened its CS Asia Championships campaign with a 13-9 win over 3DMAX on Anubis on May 20, 2026. Felipe ‘insani’ Yuji attributed the result to an intensive bootcamp that refreshed the squad ahead of the Major.

The team posted a strong T side and used revised CT setups to control rounds. MIBR secured 11 rounds on the half they adjusted and held on after a shaky start in the second half. Insani described the closing stages as composed: ‘We struggled a bit at the start of the T side but we managed to stay calm, and we closed it out.’

MIBR entered the event after nearly six weeks without matches. The roster completed a focused bootcamp where players held long talks and refined the playbook. Insani characterized the squad as ‘renewed and much-improved’ following the preparation.

The result marked a form of revenge for MIBR after a 2-1 loss to 3DMAX at PGL Bucharest last month. Insani recalled that MIBR had allowed a comeback on Ancient in that series and said the earlier collapse changed that outcome.

The lineup became international earlier this year. The organization added foreign and less experienced players, adjusted in-game communication, and appointed a new coach and captain. Insani noted that venomzera used English on stage for the first time during the event, reflecting changes in on-stage coordination.

Insani praised rising AWPer kl1m as ‘very good individually’ while acknowledging the player remains inexperienced and is being developed through daily practice.

MIBR framed the CS Asia Championships as a final test before the Major, aiming to validate the bootcamp work and maintain form and confidence without overvaluing the event. The team was scheduled to face PARIVISION later the same day; MIBR had scrimmed that opponent in practice and planned to let preparations determine map choices and strategy.
