Marvel Rivals Season 8 roadmap: Devil Dinosaur on May 15

NetEase published the roadmap for Marvel Rivals Season 8, which begins May 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. UTC. The update adds the Vanguard hero Devil Dinosaur, the Project: Hero Age Battle Pass, a Devil Dino Hide and Seek event, new accessories and multiple character skins. The Alchemax Headquarters map will join the rotation on May 29.

On launch day the game will add Devil Dinosaur with the Chromo Armor outfit, Deadpool will receive the King of Monsters skin and Hulk will appear as Infinity Hulk. NetEase plans to take servers offline for several hours while the update is applied.

The roadmap schedules a new event called Savage Adventures and two costumes for Peni Parker and Daredevil for May 22. The May 29 update will add the Alchemax Headquarters map along with Black Cat’s Formula R costume and Wolverine’s Corporate Raiders outfit. Additional cosmetic drops on June 5 will include Iron Man’s Iron Samurai and Mantis’s ESU College Life. A mid-season update on June 12 begins Season 8.5.

Marvel Rivals is a third-person hero shooter from NetEase that features licensed Marvel characters fighting across objective-based maps. NetEase uses seasonal updates to introduce new playable characters, timed events and cosmetic items.

Players should expect the May 15 downtime while the update is deployed. The roadmap lists precise dates for when new heroes, maps and items will appear in matchmaking and the in-game store.
