M80 oust TYLOO 2-1 to advance in ESL Pro League S24

M80 eliminated TYLOO 2-1 in the ESL Pro League Season 24 1-2 pool, winning on Cache and Anubis after dropping Mirage (Mirage 10-13, Cache 13-7, Anubis 13-8). Both teams retain spots at the Singapore stage, but TYLOO’s loss reduces their chances of a direct invite to Stage 2.

The series opened on Mirage. M80 led 9-5 on the T side but TYLOO mounted a late comeback to take the map 13-10.

M80 bounced back on Cache, taking a 13-7 victory driven by their T-side offense. In the decider on Anubis, M80 closed the map 13-8 to win the series.

Fritz “slaxz-” Dietrich led M80 across the three maps with 60 kills, 33 deaths, a 1.57 series rating, 93.7 average damage per round (ADR) and a 79.7% KAST. Mason “Lake” Sanderson finished 51-44 with a 1.20 rating and 91.1 ADR. Michael “Swisher” Schmid went 43-37 with a 1.14 rating. For TYLOO, Qianhao “Moseyuh” Chen and Dongkai “Jee” Ji each recorded 47 kills and posted series ratings of 1.20 and 1.08 respectively. Yi “JamYoung” Yang, Su “Zero” Jingshen and Jingxiang “Mercury” Wang had lower kill totals and ratings across the three maps.

M80 remain in the 1-2 pool and will learn their next opponent; that pool also includes PARIVISION and G2. TYLOO are eliminated from this portion of the bracket but keep their Singapore stage place. No player or team statements were provided after the match.
