M80 eliminate Legacy from ESL Pro League Season 24

M80 beat Legacy on Cache and Dust2 to advance in ESL Pro League Season 24. The North American-majority team won Cache 13-4 and Dust2 13-7, while Legacy took Mirage 13-9 in Katowice.

Legacy used analyst and stand-in Pedro “bobz” Rocha after in-game leader Andrei “arT” Piovezan missed the tournament because of illness. bobz averaged a 0.66 rating in the series and recorded 24 kills.

M80 controlled Cache from the opening rounds. Elias “s1n” Stein led the map with a 2.30 rating, while bobz finished with a 0.27 rating as Legacy lost 13-4.

Legacy responded on Mirage after falling behind 7-2. bobz posted a 1.52 rating on the Counter-Terrorist side, while Bruno “latto” Rebelatto and Santino “try” Rigal recorded ratings of 2.20 and 1.84. Legacy allowed M80 only two rounds in the second half and forced a decider.

M80 closed the series on Dust2. s1n again led his team, and M80 won 13-7. Legacy’s latto produced several strong rounds, but M80 kept its lead and secured the map.

s1n finished the series with 54 kills and a 1.56 rating. Fritz “slaxz-” Dietrich followed with a 1.17 rating. Latto led Legacy with a 1.13 rating, while bobz recorded a 47.7% average damage rate.

The result ended Legacy’s ESL Pro League campaign. It did not change the Major qualification race, since both Legacy and M80 had already secured places at the Major in Singapore.
