LOS Wins CBLOL Split 2, Secures Worlds Swiss Berth

LOS defeated FURIA 3-2 on Saturday, October 10, to win the CBLOL 2026 Split 2 title and secure Brazil’s first seed at the League of Legends World Championship. LOS will enter the Swiss Stage on October 23, while FURIA will start in the Play-In Stage on October 15.

The teams had already qualified for Worlds before the final. Their best-of-five series determined their seeding and tournament paths. LOS won Game 1, but FURIA responded in Game 2. LOS took the third game before FURIA won Game 4 to force a decider.

LOS built a lead of more than 10,000 gold in Game 5 and finished with 13 kills to FURIA’s nine. Wallyson Francisco “Duduhh” Queiroz da Silva recorded a 6/2/6 KDA, and LOS destroyed FURIA’s Nexus after 35 minutes. Jungler Raí “Curse” Yamada was named the Grand Final MVP.

The result reversed FURIA’s 3-1 win over LOS in the first CBLOL split. LOS had defeated FURIA 3-1 earlier in the Split 2 playoffs and then beat LOUD 3-2 in the Upper Bracket Final. LOS finished the regular season with six wins and one loss, tied with LOUD for first place.

The Play-In Stage will run from October 15 to 18 in Los Angeles. It will use a double-elimination bracket with best-of-five series, with four teams competing for one place in the Swiss Stage. FURIA will face the third seeds from the LEC, LCS and LCP: Movistar KOI, LYON and MVK Esports.

LOS will play in the Promotion Tournament Grand Final on October 12. The series will determine whether the organization keeps its place in Brazil’s top league for the 2027 season. LOS can therefore compete at Worlds as Brazil’s champion even if it loses that place.

Worlds 2026 will begin in the United States with the Play-In Stage on October 15. The 19-team tournament will continue with the Swiss Stage on October 23 and end with the Grand Final in New York on November 14.
