Liquid, TYLOO, DENDELE, Nemiga reach PGL Masters Bucharest

The field for PGL Masters Bucharest is complete after regional qualifiers in Europe, South America, North America and Asia produced the final four teams. The $1.25 million event runs October 24–31 in Bucharest, Romania, and counts toward invites for the PGL Major Singapore ahead of the November 2 VRS invite cut-off.

Nemiga secured its spot by going unbeaten in the Europe qualifier. The team recorded series wins over Inner Circle, SINNERS and 1win, dropped one map in the run and finished with a 3-0 victory over B8 in the Europe final.

DENDELE advanced from South America without losing a series. The squad beat Turma do Pagode and Imperial, then defeated Fluxo twice in the decider to earn its place in Bucharest.

Team Liquid’s route from North America included a mix of narrow wins and comebacks. After a tight upper-semi victory over Marsborne, Liquid dropped to the consolidation bracket following a loss to NRG. Liquid then reverse-swept Voca and recovered from a 1-2 deficit to NRG in the consolidation final, holding on after a close Mirage map and closing on Inferno to secure qualification.

TYLOO won the Asia qualifier, defeating DEPO in the grand final. DEPO reached the decider after eliminating FlyQuest in the third-place match but could not overcome TYLOO in the final.

Several invited organizations were confirmed in advance of the qualifiers, while one invited team, Falcons, declined to take part in Bucharest. With the regional events complete, the tournament will feature a mix of invited teams and regional qualifiers competing for prize money and positioning ahead of the Major invite deadline.

PGL Masters Bucharest will provide teams with a last opportunity to earn points and attention before the PGL Major Singapore invitations are finalized on November 2.
