PGL Masters Bucharest 2026: Closed-Qualifier Invites Revealed
PGL named teams invited to closed qualifiers for PGL Masters Bucharest 2026, including European entrants B8 and IC and regional invites FlyQuest, LFO, TYLOO and DEPO Legion.
PGL has published the teams granted direct entry to the closed qualifiers for PGL Masters Bucharest 2026. European sides B8 and IC are among the invited teams, alongside regional invitees FlyQuest, LFO, TYLOO and DEPO Legion. These squads will compete in regional closed qualifiers alongside teams that qualify through the open stage.
PGL Masters Bucharest will run from October 24 to 31, 2026, with a $1,250,000 prize pool. Main-event invites were announced earlier; Falcons declined their invitation while other top teams accepted.
The qualification process begins with open qualifiers from September 3 to 6. The open events will award four berths each into the European, South American and North American closed qualifiers, and two berths each into the Asian and Oceanic closed qualifiers.
Closed qualifiers for Europe and the Americas are scheduled for September 9 to 12. Asian and Oceanic regional closed qualifiers will take place on September 9 and 10, with a final APAC closed qualifier on September 13. Invited teams will join the fields produced by the open events to fill the closed-qualifier brackets.
From the closed qualifiers, one team from each of four regions — Europe, North America, South America and APAC — will secure a berth at the Bucharest main event. The full roster of closed-qualifier participants will be completed after the open qualifiers conclude in early September.
Teams that advance through the closed qualifiers will join the already-invited lineup for the October tournament in Romania.
