Latto leads Legacy to third at IEM Atlanta
Bruno “latto” Rebelatto paced Legacy to a 13-4, 13-3 win over BetBoom to secure third place at IEM Atlanta.
Legacy secured third place at IEM Atlanta with a 13-4 win on Mirage followed by a 13-3 finish on Nuke in the tournament’s third-place match against BetBoom.
Legacy controlled both maps from early rounds, closing Mirage 13-4 through consistent round wins and efficient trades. On Nuke the Brazilian side won 13-3 as BetBoom was unable to overcome Legacy’s setups and individual performances.
Bruno “latto” Rebelatto led the series. He posted a 1.96 rating on Mirage and a 2.21 rating on Nuke, finishing the match with 41 kills and 12 deaths, a 112.7 average damage per round (ADR) and a 93.9% KAST for an overall 2.11 rating. Eduardo “dumau” Wolkmer added 32 kills, 22 deaths, a 107.1 ADR and a 1.43 rating. Andrei “arT” Piovezan finished with 31 kills, 23 deaths, a 102.8 ADR and a 1.36 rating. Guilherme “saadzin” Pacheco had 18 kills and 12 deaths with a 59.8 ADR and a 1.15 rating, while Vinicius “n1ssim” Pereira posted 20 kills and 13 deaths with a 57.7 ADR and a 1.14 rating.
BetBoom entered the match after an earlier victory over Vitality but could not match Legacy’s output. Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov finished 17-27 with a 66.0 ADR and a 0.86 rating. Pavel “S1ren” Ogloblin went 19-28 with a 70.4 ADR and a 0.77 rating. Aleksandr “zorte” Zagodyrenko recorded 21-28 with a 60.3 ADR and a 0.71 rating. Timur “FL4MUS” Marev was 13-30 with a 50.4 ADR and a 0.66 rating, and Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov had 10 kills and 30 deaths with a 49.6 ADR and a 0.44 rating.
Andrei “arT” Piovezan reflected on the result: “We came in hungry today after yesterday. The last tournaments weren’t as good, so this result will give us a lot of confidence and a lot of maps to watch.”
Legacy finished third at IEM Atlanta; BetBoom placed fourth. Legacy will review the match maps as it prepares for upcoming events.
