Latto ace sends Legacy to CS Asia semis

Legacy defeated The MongolZ 2-1 at the CS Asia Championships on May 23, 2026. Bruno ‘latto’ Rebelatto delivered an ace on Nuke to close the series. Legacy won Inferno and Nuke while The MongolZ took Mirage. Legacy will meet MIBR in the semi-final on May 23 at 08:00 local tournament time.

On Inferno Legacy trailed 3-9 after the side swap. Latto produced several multi-kill rounds that reduced the deficit. Andrei ‘arT’ Piovezan applied an aggressive tempo that created openings in mid-round situations and helped Legacy reverse the scoreline to take the map.

The MongolZ won Mirage. They secured a second-round force-buy on the CT side and converted rounds by isolating defenders during the second half. Vinicius ‘n1ssim’ Pereira recorded 47 kills across the series and completed a 1v2 MP9 clutch on Mirage.

Nuke opened with low-buy rounds and traded early economy. Guilherme ‘saadzin’ Pacheco recorded a four-kill round with no armor on the pistol and arT produced several impact multi-kills as Legacy asserted control on CT. The MongolZ built a defensive streak, but Legacy slowed the pace and won longer mid-round engagements. With the series on the line, latto converted a 1v3 ace to win the final round and clinch the match.

Match statistics underline individual contributions. Latto finished 58-40 with an average damage per round of 89.4 and a tournament rating of 1.36. Eduardo ‘dumau’ Wolkmer had 51 kills and a 1.06 rating. Andrei ‘arT’ Piovezan ended 41-50. For The MongolZ, Usukhbayar ‘910’ Banzragch and Ayush ‘mzinho’ Batbold each recorded 47 kills with ratings near 1.09 and 1.08 respectively. Anarbileg ‘cobrazera’ Uuganbayar posted a 77.1 ADR and a 1.05 rating. Garidmagnai ‘bLitz’ Byambasuren recorded a three-kill round with the AWP.

Legacy advances to the semi-final against MIBR. The MongolZ are eliminated from the CS Asia Championships.
