Krafton posts BGMI Global Points; iQOO Orangutan leads
Krafton India published official BGMI team rankings with Global Points for 2024–2026 on its esports portal, listing iQOO Orangutan first and Team Soul second ahead of BMPS 2026.
Krafton India has published official BGMI team rankings on its esports portal, showing Global Points totals for 2024, 2025 and 2026. The portal lists iQOO Orangutan as the top-ranked team and Team Soul in second place.
Krafton’s Global Points system aggregates results from Krafton-sanctioned tournaments across three years and uses a weighted score to produce an overall ranking. The portal displays each team’s point totals for 2024, 2025 and 2026 and updates the combined totals after each official event.
The rankings were posted ahead of BMPS 2026, which begins May 6 with a 64-team qualifier stage and concludes with Grand Finals in Jaipur from June 19 to June 21. The BMPS 2026 champion receives a direct slot at the Esports World Cup 2026 in Riyadh. India has two EWC 2026 slots in total; Krafton has not announced how the second slot will be awarded.
Karan Pathak, Associate Director of Esports at Krafton India, confirmed that the BGIS title will not carry an international slot. A recent BMPS teaser included the word “Points” near the event logo.
The rankings show iQOO Orangutan leading largely because of a 2,000-point total posted in 2025. Team Soul moved to second after earning 1,000 points for their BGIS 2026 title. iQOO Revenant Xspark has 2,000 points from 2024 but lower totals in 2025 and 2026, placing them ninth overall.
Several teams entered BMPS 2026 with no 2026 points. Team Aryan, the BMPS 2025 winner, is ranked 13th and has not added 2026 points; iQOO 8bit is 14th and Team Versatile 17th, both without 2026 points. Early matches in the BMPS qualifiers offer those teams opportunities to add points before later sanctioned events.
Victores Sumus began 2026 with 600 points and Wyld Fangs with 400 points; both can improve their overall positions with strong BMPS results. Other teams with higher totals from prior years maintain their ranks until updated by new event results.
BMPS 2026 reduced the field from 96 teams to 64 and uses a promotion-relegation format across four rounds of six matches each, with teams eliminated progressively. The Global Points table updates after each sanctioned tournament, so every official BMPS match will alter teams’ totals.
The rankings page lists all registered competitive teams and their year-by-year and combined Global Points. The portal’s updates after each official tournament provide the current standings for the 2024–2026 period.
