Intel renews EPIC.LAN headline partnership for 2026
Intel will headline EPIC.LAN’s remaining 2026 events, beginning with EPIC48 in July at Kettering Leisure Village, providing hardware demos and supporting the Intel Community Championship.
Intel has renewed its headline partnership with EPIC.LAN for the remainder of 2026. The agreement covers activations at live events held at Kettering Leisure Village and begins with EPIC48 in July.
Under the deal, Intel will supply hardware to power tournament rigs and run on-site technology demonstrations at EPIC.LAN’s remaining flagship events through 2026. Competitors across multiple game titles at EPIC48 will earn points toward an overall ranking in the Intel Community Championship.
EPIC.LAN also provides technical services for other event producers. Organisers intend to use the partnership as a test environment for deploying semiconductor and hardware setups in high-density LAN conditions, allowing event operators to trial configurations and stress-test equipment during large gatherings while attendees try new products in competitive settings.
The renewal follows a series of digital and in-person collaborations between the two organisations in 2025. Larger UK gaming festivals and specialist competitions resumed in 2026, and EPIC.LAN positions its events as entry points for local players and emerging organisers. The extended sponsorship secures headline support for EPIC.LAN’s calendar through the rest of the year.
Jon Winkle, managing director at EPIC.LAN, called the return “brilliant,” noting the partnership will allow the organisation to demonstrate high-end technology at events and strengthen links with its community.
