Inner Circle beat Acend to win Super DraculaN

Inner Circle defeated Acend 3-1 in the best-of-five final to win Super DraculaN Season 1 in Bucharest and take the $150,000 top prize. The match finished late Sunday.

The team reached the final with wins over AM, 9INE, Sashi, Walczaki and Sharks. In the final Inner Circle surrendered Mirage after leading 10-6, then won the next three maps. In-game leader Viktor ‘onic’ Babii posted a 1.49 rating on Ancient to close the series.

All five players contributed across the event. Viktor ‘onic’ Babii finished 54-49 with a 66.4 ADR and a 1.13 rating. Eduard ‘zeRRoFIX’ Petrovsky recorded 64-50 with a 77.5 ADR and a 1.10 rating. David ‘Dawy’ Bibik ended 60-51 with a 74.8 ADR and a 1.08 rating. Arseniy ‘cptkurtka023’ Derevinsky posted 56-58 with a 79.0 ADR and a 1.06 rating. New signing Daniil ‘headtr1ck’ Valitov finished 64-50 with a 67.8 ADR and a 1.05 rating.

Kalin ‘KalubeR’ Erenditsov led Acend with a 63-61 line, a 77.8 ADR and a 1.17 rating. Other Acend players recorded lower overall ratings across the event.

Inner Circle made a roster change earlier in the year after Artem ‘cairne’ Mushynskyi left and added headtr1ck. The team placed third at BCG Masters Season 2 and recorded its first event win of this scale in Bucharest. The result moved Inner Circle to 27th in the VRS rankings.

GamerLegion finished last at the event and lost 58 VRS points. FOKUS and K27 also declined in the rankings. Seven teams gained nine or more places in the VRS after the tournament. Super DraculaN Season 1 was the first edition of the Bucharest event.
