Halo Campaign Evolved reportedly due July 30 for €59

An insider with a record of accurate leaks reported that Halo Campaign Evolved could launch on July 30 for €59 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and PC. The source indicated physical copies are planned for console platforms while the PC version will most likely be released only through digital storefronts. Microsoft is expected to provide official details at the Xbox Games Showcase on June 7 at 19:00 CEST.

The leak outlined visual and audio upgrades, including improved graphics, updated lighting and enhanced sound design. Developers reportedly modernized gameplay by adding new mechanics, reworking controls and integrating weapons that first appeared in later Halo entries. The campaign’s story content is said to include three additional missions set before the events of the original main campaign.

Single-player will support cooperative play for up to four players online and two-player split-screen locally, according to the report. At the same time, the insider indicated that traditional Halo multiplayer modes would be excluded from this release.

If accurate, the release would mark the first official Halo title on PlayStation hardware. The franchise began with Halo: Combat Evolved on Xbox in 2001.
