Game Pass adds Forza Horizon 6 day-one, 13 games in May

Xbox Game Pass announced its May 2026 Wave 1 lineup, including day-one Forza Horizon 6 on May 19 and 13 other titles including Final Fantasy V, Subnautica 2 and DOOM: The Dark Ages.

Microsoft’s Xbox Game Pass revealed its Wave 1 additions for May 2026, led by Forza Horizon 6, which will be available to subscribers the same day it launches on May 19. The announcement lists 13 additional titles arriving during the wave.

The Wave 1 slate includes Final Fantasy V, Ben 10 Power Trip, Descenders Next, Wheel World, Wildgate, Wuchang: Fallen Feathers, Mixtape, Outbound, Black Jacket, Call of the Elder Gods, Elite Dangerous, DOOM: The Dark Ages and Subnautica 2.

Forza Horizon 6 is set in Japan and will appear on Game Pass at launch. Xbox provided a firm release date only for Forza; the company did not give specific release dates for the other Wave 1 games in the announcement.

The additions cover multiple genres, including racing, role-playing, survival and action, and include both long-running franchises and smaller independent projects. Titles such as Elite Dangerous and Descenders Next offer different gameplay styles within the same month of additions.

The announcement notes that Game Pass continues to combine first-party day-one releases with third-party titles in its monthly rotations. Xbox said it will confirm platform availability and exact release dates for the non-dated games as each title’s launch approaches.
