G2, PUBG Mobile Bring Dust II-Inspired Map To Amateur Event
G2 Esports and PUBG Mobile will host a Western European amateur tournament on 24–25 October, featuring PMG2, a mobile map inspired by Counter-Strike’s Dust II.
G2 Esports and PUBG Mobile, published by Tencent Games, will host the G2 x PUBG Mobile: Community Challenge on 24–25 October 2026. The amateur tournament will feature PMG2, a custom PUBG Mobile map inspired by Counter-Strike’s Dust II.
PMG2 adapts Counter-Strike’s five-versus-five bomb-defusal format for PUBG Mobile. The tournament is aimed at PC players in Western Europe who are familiar with Counter-Strike but may be new to PUBG Mobile.
Registration is open through 23 October via G2’s official Discord server. Players must be at least 16 years old and based in Western Europe. Professional and semi-professional players, along with anyone who competed in the 2026 PUBG Mobile Club Open Western Europe Group Stage, are not eligible.
Teams must have four or five active players and may include one substitute. G2 and PUBG Mobile are targeting 200 registrations across Western Europe to measure participation in the event.
The tournament will start on 24 October with two 32-team qualifier brackets. Matches will use a best-of-one, single-elimination format. The top four teams will advance to the Finals on 25 October, where the semi-finals and grand final will be best-of-three matches. Winners will receive commercial gift cards and official G2 merchandise.
G2’s internal white-label agency, 62, is managing tournament operations, creator campaigns and media buying. JanickaGaming, a Western European game ambassador, will produce recap content. G2 and PUBG Mobile will promote the tournament through their media channels.
The event is part of a partnership between G2 Esports and PUBG Mobile Esports established in mid-2026. The partnership is focused on connecting Western PC gaming audiences with mobile esports markets in Asia.
We will share more details as the story develops; meanwhile, you can browse gaming gift cards.
