Fort Worth to Host 2026 Rocket League World Championship
BLAST will stage the 2026 Rocket League World Championship in Fort Worth, Texas, Sept. 15–20 at Dickies Arena with 20 teams and a $1.2 million prize pool.
BLAST announced the 2026 Rocket League World Championship will take place in Fort Worth, Texas, Sept. 15–20, 2026, at Dickies Arena. The season-ending tournament will feature 20 teams competing for a $1.2 million prize pool.
The organizer named the Fort Worth Sports Commission as the event’s official sports tourism partner. The commission will receive integrated commercial visibility across the tournament, including in-broadcast advertising, physical backdrops and dedicated on-site fan zones designed to promote the Dallas–Fort Worth area to international esports audiences.
BLAST will work with Live Nation and Texas promoter C3 Presents to manage logistics and promotional operations for the six-day tournament.
The schedule will split between studio-based competition phases and live-crowd days, concluding with a three-day final bracket at Dickies Arena. The 2026 championship will be the third time the venue has hosted the Rocket League World Championship.
The event will bring together the top 20 rosters worldwide, with teams qualifying through the circuit’s ranking system. The announcement coincides with live coverage of the RLCS Paris Major, where teams are collecting final ranking points and competing for direct qualification spots for the September finals. The broader RLCS season is currently in its second competitive split and the selection of Fort Worth follows the Boston Major held earlier this year in the United States.
“Fort Worth has become a standout and regular fixture on the Rocket League Championship Series esports calendar, and we’re proud to be working alongside the Fort Worth Sports Commission to bring the World Championship back to the city,” James Woollard, BLAST’s vice president of Destinations & Market Development, noted. He added that thousands of fans traveled to Fort Worth for previous World Championships and BLAST expects similar attendance for 2026.
