FlyQuest revives Project KOALAfication; LP wins Recife

FlyQuest relaunched Project KOALAfication ahead of the IEM Cologne Major Stage 1, which begins June 2, 2026. The North American organization announced it will adopt a koala for one month for each map Vitality loses at the Major, for every pistol round FlyQuest wins, and for every map won by an Australian team at the event. FlyQuest has released a limited-edition KOALAfication t-shirt with 20% of proceeds designated for koala conservation.

FlyQuest is scheduled to play SINNERS on June 2 at 10:30 local tournament time in Cologne. The program links specific in-game results to a unit of care for koalas so that particular match outcomes trigger an adoption rather than using a single lump-sum donation.

In Recife, Brazilian side LP won the BetBoom Circuit X Base Recife title on Sunday, defeating BESTIA 2-1 in the grand final. The victory moved LP up 13 places in the global VRS rankings to 71st. Sources within the Brazilian scene indicate LP is close to joining LOUD, though no formal announcement has been made.

Individual performances in Recife: LP’s Alisson finished 55-37 with an average damage per round (ADR) of 82.1 and a Rating 3.0 of 1.43.
