FaZe beat BetBoom 2-0 to reach XSE Pro League semifinals

FaZe defeated BetBoom 2-0 on Cache and Ancient at the XSE Pro League in Guangzhou to advance to the semifinals, where they will meet PARIVISION on July 11.
FaZe defeated BetBoom 2-0 at the XSE Pro League event in Guangzhou to reach the semifinals. The series ended on Cache (13-2) and Ancient (13-6). FaZe will face PARIVISION on July 11 at 11:00 local time for a place in the grand final.
On Cache FaZe won the opening CT pistol and an early anti-eco. Ryan “Neityu” Aubry made a 1v3 clutch in the third round. FaZe closed the first half 10-2 and the final score after the switch was 13-2.
On Ancient FaZe again opened a 10-2 lead on the CT side. BetBoom won the second pistol round and claimed four rounds in the second half, but FaZe finished the map 13-6 to complete the series.
Individual statistics from the match show David “frozen” Čerňanský with a 38-17 line, 109.8 ADR, 85.3% KAST and a 1.89 series rating, including a 2.25 rating on Ancient. Neityu finished 30-16 with a 96.7 ADR. Russel “Twistzz” Van Dulken posted 28-18 and an 88.7 ADR, Jason “JBOEN” Boe Nielsen had 29-20 and a 76.4 ADR, and Jakub “jcobbb” Pietruszewski recorded 22-17 with a 73.4 ADR.
For BetBoom, Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov had 21-29, a 75.6 ADR and a 1.13 rating for the match, and he recorded 12 first-half kills on Ancient with a 112.2 ADR in that map’s first half. Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov finished 24-31 with a 69.4 ADR and a 0.84 rating. Aleksandr “zorte” Zagodyrenko was 17-27 with a 52.1 ADR, Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov was 14-31 with a 65.2 ADR, and Pavel “S1ren” Ogloblin was 11-30 with a 41.4 ADR. BetBoom entered the event with a 3-0 group-stage record and Magnojez led the tournament with a 1.44 rating before the playoff match.
The winner of the FaZe vs PARIVISION semifinal on July 11 will advance to the grand final in Guangzhou.
