On May 22 at the CS Asia Championships, Falcons and MIBR advanced to the semifinal round after winning seeding matches. Falcons defeated reigning champions Legacy 2-0, and MIBR beat B8 2-1.

On Falcons’ pick Ancient, Legacy won the CT pistol but Falcons pushed with MAC-10 rounds to lead 7-1 and an 8-4 halftime advantage. The teams traded rounds in the second half before René ‘TeSeS’ Madsen averaged a 2.34 rating and 135.8 ADR across 10 CT rounds to help Falcons finish 13-9.

Key match statistics from the series: René ‘TeSeS’ Madsen 40-24, 99.1 ADR, 1.75 rating; Ilya ‘m0NESY’ Osipov 30-28, 69.1 ADR, 1.23 rating. Legacy’s top performer was Guilherme ‘saadzin’ Pacheco at 35-28, 91.0 ADR and a 1.27 rating.

MIBR opened their series on Inferno with an 11-1 T-side and closed the map 13-1 after winning the second pistol. On Mirage, MIBR led 5-1 early but B8 recovered to a 6-6 halftime tie and then opened the second half with six straight rounds to win 13-10. On Ancient, MIBR led 10-2 at the half and finished 13-2. Felipe ‘insani’ Yuji produced a 3.28 map rating on Ancient with a 25-8 K/D, 163.6 ADR, a +21.36% swing and six multikills; the performance set a new highest map rating at an MVP event and ranks third-highest on LAN.

Series statistics for MIBR included Linus ‘LNZ’ Holtäng at 47-28, 83.6 ADR, 1.57 rating, and Carlos ‘venomzera’ Eduardo at 41-38, 89.3 ADR, 1.16 rating. B8’s leading series performer was Alexey ‘alex666’ Yarmoshchuk at 39-39, 81.7 ADR, 1.06 rating.

Because the tournament schedule is compressed, both seeding-match losers must play quarterfinals later the same day. Legacy will face the winner of The MongolZ versus PARIVISION, and B8 will meet the winner of MOUZ versus paiN. Quarterfinals are scheduled for May 22 at 10:00 local time.

Semifinal matches will follow to determine the finalists for the CS Asia Championships 2026.
