ESL to release player profiles, documentary at IEM Cologne
ESL will publish three player profiles, a documentary of the IEM Cologne 2022 Natus Vincere–FaZe final and a 10-minute season trailer during the IEM Cologne Major, plus LED wristbands and easier merch access.
In a Reddit post, Marc “Nix0n” Winther Kristensen, ESL’s director of esports for Counter-Strike, outlined the organizer’s content plans for the IEM Cologne Major.
Kristensen wrote ESL produced “three deep-dive player profiles on the stars of the tournament” that will be released during the event.
The post confirmed a documentary focused on the IEM Cologne 2022 grand final between Natus Vincere and FaZe, which the post described as “the greatest series in CS history.”
ESL also plans to publish a 10-minute trailer summing up the season’s key storylines on Monday of the tournament week.
On the fan experience side, Kristensen listed LED wristbands for attendees, an easier way to buy official merchandise and additional fan service changes to venue operations.
