ESL Reveals IEM Cologne Major Broadcast Talent
ESL named presenters, sideline hosts, analysts and casters for the IEM Cologne Major, which begins June 2 in Cologne, including Ashley “ash” Battye on the analyst desk.
ESL announced the full broadcast roster for the IEM Cologne Major, set to begin June 2 in Cologne, Germany. The lineup covers presenters, sideline reporters, a stage host, analysts and casting pairs for live match commentary, with both on-site and studio coverage planned.
Presenters and host duties include Freya “Freya” Spiers as presenter, Tres “stunna” Saranthus in a sideline presenter role, Eefje “sjokz” Depoortere on the sideline and Oliver “OJ Borg” D’Anastasi as stage host. Jacob “Pimp” Winneche will serve both as an analyst and a presenter for studio segments and player interviews.
The analyst desk will feature Janko “YNk” Paunović, Jacob “Pimp” Winneche, Martin “STYKO” Styk, Ashley “ash” Battye and Peter “dupreeh” Rasmussen. Battye, who recently left GamerLegion and is currently seeking a new team, will appear on the desk to provide tactical analysis during the Major.
Match commentary will be handled by four casting pairs: Chad “SPUNJ” Burchill and Alex “Machine” Richardson, Harry “JustHarry” Russell and Hugo “Hugo” Byron, Jason “moses” O’Toole and Adam “Dinko” Hawthorne, and Conner “Scrawny” Girvan and Mohan “launders” Govindasamy. These pairs will cover in-game play-by-play and color commentary across the event’s stages.
IEM Cologne is one of Counter-Strike’s Major championships and will host top professional teams and an international viewing audience. ESL will deploy the announced talent across its broadcast windows throughout the tournament.
