EA launches FC Pro Mobile circuit for 2026, $100K mid-season

EA launches global EA SPORTS FC Pro Mobile esports circuit for 2026 with online qualifiers, regional leagues and a $100,000 Mid-Season Playoffs feeding a 32-player World Championship.

Electronic Arts has launched a global EA SPORTS FC Pro Mobile esports circuit for the 2026 season. The circuit includes online qualifiers, regional leagues and live events, and culminates in a 32-player World Championship.

The qualifying season opens with Global Qualifier #1, which begins with a ladder phase running June 11–14, 2026 and continues with a playoff phase hosted on the Battlefy platform. Players must have reached the in-game “FC Champion” division to enter the qualifying route. Regional pathways include a Southeast Asia League and a Middle East and Africa (MEA) Qualifier. Publisher-led competitions will run in China, South Korea and Vietnam and will be managed by Tencent, Nexon and Garena, respectively.

The season centers on two main events: the Mid-Season Playoffs and the World Championship. The Mid-Season Playoffs will be the first in-person event of the year and will feature 24 players competing for a $100,000 prize pool. The top eight finishers at that event will earn direct qualification to the 32-player World Championship later in the season. Battlefy will host parts of the online playoff phases, and several World Championship slots will be decided at in-person events.

The EA SPORTS FC Pro team wrote: “Our qualification system is designed to balance accessibility with competitive depth — giving players all around the world a chance to enter the ecosystem while preserving strong regional representation at the highest levels.” The system combines online ladders, regional leagues and partner competitions so performance across multiple stages determines advancement.

EA described the circuit as a way to formalize the mobile competitive scene and reach mobile-first audiences in regions with high smartphone usage. The 2026 season begins with the June qualifier dates and will progress through partner leagues and live events toward the World Championship later in the year.
