Countrymen 5star eliminated The MongolZ from FISSURE Playground 3 in Suzhou, China, with a 2-0 victory that knocked The MongolZ out of the group stage.

The MongolZ had earlier lost in overtime to MIBR at the same event, leaving them with two defeats on the weekend. The MongolZ had been the clear No. 1 side in Mongolia for more than three years and had won their previous four LAN meetings against other Mongolian teams.

Tengis ‘rate’ Boldbaatar led 5star with 41 kills and 25 deaths, a 1.68 rating, 94.4 average damage per round (ADR) and a +6.60% round swing; his KAST was 78.3%. Uuganbayar ‘NEUZ’ Nyam-Otgon (35-31, 1.16 rating, 88.5 ADR, 71.7% KAST), Dulguun ‘hoolig4n’ Batsaikhan (33-27, 1.14 rating, 71.5 ADR, 73.9% KAST) and Gerelt-Od ‘clouden’ Jargal (32-29, 1.08 rating, 74.7 ADR, 76.1% KAST) provided supporting performances across the series.

The MongolZ made roster changes before the Suzhou event after Azbayar ‘Senzu’ Munkhbold and Ayush ‘mzinho’ Batbold left the lineup. Sodbayar ‘Techno’ Munkhbold was replaced by Anarbileg ‘cobrazera’ Uuganbayar, who returned from the bench with 40 kills, a 1.34 rating and 94.1 ADR. Other starters posted below-average series figures: Garidmagnai ‘bLitz’ Byambasuren (25-30, 0.97 rating), Usukhbayar ‘910’ Banzragch (33-35, 0.89), Dugarsuren ‘DarkMeister’ Ireedui (25-28, 0.88) and Zolbayar ‘tikuak’ Chimedtseren (18-33, 0.64).

Across the two maps, 5star converted several high-damage rounds and maintained higher KAST and ADR metrics, producing a positive round-to-round conversion rate. The MongolZ were unable to match 5star’s consistency in key rounds and dropped both maps.

The defeat eliminates The MongolZ from FISSURE Playground 3 and places them in a tie for last at the event. The team exits the Suzhou group stage with two losses.
