CD Projekt Teases Ukrainian Text in The Witcher 3 DLC

CD Projekt Red launched official Ukrainian-language channels and posted a teaser for the Songs of the Past expansion on its Telegram account. The short clip includes Ukrainian subtitles and translated titles for both The Witcher 3 and the expansion.

The company opened Ukrainian accounts on Telegram, Threads and Instagram. The teaser’s Ukrainian captions and the localized game and expansion names drew attention from the Ukrainian online community.

Songs of the Past is scheduled for release in 2027. More information is expected at Gamescom 2026, according to the company.

Some community members suggested the localized text could mean an official Ukrainian localization is in development. The presence of subtitles and translated titles in promotional material may indicate translation assets are already being prepared, but CD Projekt has not confirmed plans to add Ukrainian language support.

It remains unclear whether any localized elements seen in the teaser will appear in the game as menus, in-game text or audio. The confirmed facts are the launch of Ukrainian-language social channels, the Telegram teaser with Ukrainian subtitles and the expansion’s 2027 release window.
