BTS’ Jin and Jimin play League of Legends at LOUD

BTS members Jin and Jimin visited Brazilian esports organization LOUD’s training facility in São Paulo on Oct. 27. The singers used a day off from their Brazil tour to play ranked League of Legends games, eat barbecue and spend time at the facility.

Jin arrived at about 2 p.m., while Jimin joined him later in the afternoon. LOUD co-founder Bruno “PH” Bittencourt arranged the visit and prepared the facility, including configuring the gaming computers in Korean. Jin began playing on Brazil’s League of Legends server while waiting for Jimin.

The visit was arranged through Oh “Raise” Ji-hwan, LOUD’s League of Legends coach. LOUD co-owner and streamer Victor “Coringa” Augusto described Raise as a childhood friend of BTS members who attended the same school. Raise helped organize the private visit while BTS was in São Paulo for concerts.

LOUD told staff that the facility would be closed for pest control to keep the visit private. Most employees stayed away, and the chef hired to prepare the barbecue was not told who the guests were.

Coringa reported that Jin and Jimin played five ranked games and lost all of them. They continued playing, ate barbecue and tried pudim, a Brazilian caramel custard dessert. Staff members did not ask for photos so the singers could spend their day off without additional attention.

A video of Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok playing League of Legends helped start conversations during the visit, according to Coringa. He described Jin as relaxed while waiting for Jimin and playing with his manager.

LOUD later joked on social media that Jin and Jimin had joined its League of Legends roster. The post promised more information about their competitive plans and official debut, but the announcement was presented as a joke. There is no indication that either singer will compete for LOUD.

The organization also shared custom green-and-black jerseys bearing the names of all seven BTS members. LOUD did not confirm whether the other five members visited the facility.

BTS is scheduled to perform at São Paulo’s MorumBIS stadium on Oct. 28, 30 and 31. Jin and Jimin’s visit took place during a day off from the group’s Brazil tour.

BTS member Kim “V” Tae-hyung reached Master rank in solo queue on the Korean League of Legends server in August 2026. He had previously reached Diamond 2 in June.
