Boars Coach Bamb1ni Targets PMGO S1 Finals, Eyes Top 4
Boars Gaming coach Dmytro “Bamb1ni” Kuzmenko set the team’s minimum goal at PMGO 2026 S1 as reaching the finals and aims for a top-4 finish.
Dmytro “Bamb1ni” Kuzmenko, coach of Ukrainian squad Boars Gaming, set the team’s minimum goal for the PUBG Mobile Global Open 2026 Season 1 as reaching the finals and said the full aim is a top-4 finish. The tournament begins today and runs for one week; the broadcast starts at 14:00 Kyiv time.
Kuzmenko told players the squad had more preparation time than many rivals and focused on its own game plan because each stage is condensed into a single day rather than two or three. That shorter format limits opportunities to change strategies between stages, so the team prioritized consistent play across matches.
PMGO this season uses six maps and six contests, requiring teams to be active from the opening second of each match and to defend drop spots. “On every map, we need to be fully in the game from the very beginning,” Kuzmenko added, saying the team prepared for scenarios that demand aggression and concentration through each match.
Kuzmenko set target thresholds: reaching the finals represents the minimum goal, which would place Boars among the top 16 of 32 teams. The organization’s full objective is a top-4 finish, positions that would provide routes to qualify for future Tier-S events.
He named Alpha7 and Aurora as the teams that appear a level above the rest and listed eArena, Horaa, Team Flash and Pandum as opponents Boars expects to meet early in the event.
The coach thanked supporters, noted the squad reads fan comments and urged fans to tune in to the broadcast. PMGO Season 1 is the first major international PUBG Mobile event of 2026 and features 32 teams competing across multiple matches and maps.
