BMPS 2026: 64 teams named; Jaipur to host finals
Krafton India announced 64 invited teams for BMPS 2026. Qualifiers begin May 6, Grand Finals run June 19–21 in Jaipur, and the champion earns a slot at Esports World Cup 2026.
Krafton India announced the full field of 64 invited teams for BMPS 2026. Qualifiers run May 6–31, the Grand Finals take place June 19–21 in Jaipur, and the tournament champion receives a direct berth to the Esports World Cup 2026 in Riyadh.
The lineup was posted on the Krafton India Esports Instagram account through four “Meet the Teams” graphics. The invited field is capped at 64 teams, down from as many as 96 in some previous editions. BMPS 2026 carries a prize pool of over ₹2 crore and is the second-largest BGMI event on the 2026 calendar after BGIS 2026.
All teams begin in the Qualifiers stage from May 6 to May 31. Teams are seeded into four groups of 16 and compete under a promotion-relegation format across four rounds. Each round features six matches, so every team plays 24 matches in the Qualifiers. The top eight teams from Group A after the Qualifiers secure direct spots in the Grand Finals. Group A’s bottom eight and Group B’s top eight advance to the Semifinals. Teams ranked 25th to 56th move to a Survival Stage. The bottom eight in Group D are eliminated.
Remaining stages are scheduled as follows: Survival matches from June 2–5, Semifinals from June 9–12, Last Chance qualifiers on June 13–14, and the 16-team Grand Finals in Jaipur from June 19–21. Krafton India will stream all matches on the Krafton India Esports YouTube channel beginning May 6.
The announced field includes established organizations and several first-time BMPS participants. iQOO Soul, the BGIS 2026 champions, and iQOO Orangutan, currently top-ranked on Krafton India’s Global Points table, are in the draw. Genesis Esports, BGIS runners-up, and a rebuilt GodLike Esports roster will compete. Team Apex Gaming, founded by Jonathan Amaral after his April 2026 departure from GodLike, makes its BMPS debut with a lineup featuring Jelly, Hydro, Harsh and KioLmao. iQOO Revenant XSpark, which posted 2,000 Global Points in 2024, also appear in the field.
Several teams earned places through grassroots qualifiers and open-circuit events. Quantum Sparks, Godsent Legions and Rising Esports are among the teams making their first BMPS appearances after progressing via those routes.
The BMPS 2026 champion will receive the winner’s share of the prize pool and an automatic spot at the Esports World Cup 2026 in Riyadh. India has two EWC 2026 slots for BGMI; Krafton India has confirmed one will go to the BMPS champion and has not yet announced how the second slot will be allocated. The Global Points table aggregates points from official events across the year and is used to rank teams during the season.
Organizers say the event schedule and format will determine how teams progress through multiple stages and that results will be publicly available via Krafton India’s streams and official channels.
