BetBoom to start d1Ledez as S1ren misses IEM Cologne opener

BetBoom announced Pavel “S1ren” Ogloblin will not start on day one of IEM Cologne; Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov is registered to start against Gaimin Gladiators.

BetBoom announced that Pavel “S1ren” Ogloblin will not feature in the starting lineup on opening day of the IEM Cologne Major. Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov has been registered to start against Gaimin Gladiators in the team’s Stage 1 opener, scheduled for June 2, 2026 at 13:30.

The organization confirmed the five players who will take the server for the match: Kirill “Boombl4” Mikhailov, Kirill “Magnojez” Rodnov, Aleksandr “zorte” Zagodyrenko, Daniil “d1Ledez” Kustov and Timur “FL4MUS” Marev.

BetBoom stated that S1ren will join the squad “later” but did not provide a date. The organization attributed the uncertainty to visa complications. The BetBoom CEO previously described the Cologne roster as an open question “until all players receive their visas.”

BetBoom finished fourth at IEM Atlanta, where FL4MUS stood in for d1Ledez. The team registered d1Ledez as its substitute for the Major and confirmed he will start the opener versus Gaimin Gladiators.

Under the Major’s rulebook, teams may field a registered substitute and later revert to their original lineup; once a team chooses to revert, no further substitutions are allowed. That regulation allows BetBoom to add S1ren to the active five at some point before committing to the original roster.

For now BetBoom will begin the Cologne campaign with d1Ledez in the starting lineup and S1ren listed as joining “later,” with final timing depending on visa clearance and any strategic choices the organization makes as the tournament progresses.
