BB-8 Joins Fortnite Droid Tycoon Event on March 10

BB-8 will appear in Fortnite’s Star Wars Droid Tycoon for the first time during a limited in-game event that begins Sunday, March 10 at 7 AM Pacific Time. Epic Games has not announced an end time for the event.

The start time converts to 10 AM Eastern, 3 PM UK (BST), 7:30 PM India Standard Time and 12:00 AM AEST on Monday for players in Australia.

A live countdown to BB-8’s arrival is visible inside Droid Tycoon, outside the Cantina on the right-hand side. The timer displays days, hours and minutes until the event goes live.

BB-8 has not been available in Droid Tycoon since the mode launched. The droid will appear only during this limited event and is listed among the rarer droids in the mode.

Epic Games has shared preview images showing BB-8 in higher rarity tiers labeled Gold, Diamond and Rainbow. Players seeking those variants will need to be online while the event is active to pursue them.

Droid Tycoon remains the in-game setting for the release, and the in-mode countdown is meant to help players prepare for the limited window to obtain BB-8.
