ASUS appoints Kitty Cao as Esports Partnerships Manager
Kitty Cao, a nearly eight-year HyperX veteran, joins ASUS as Esports Partnerships and Brand Manager, the company announced on LinkedIn.
ASUS has named Kitty Cao its Esports Partnerships and Brand Manager, the company announced on LinkedIn. In a LinkedIn post, Cao wrote she is excited to join ASUS and work with a brand that understands players “from grassroots communities to the global stage.” She added she looks forward to “building creative partnerships, running fun campaigns, and working with others who are passionate about gaming and esports.”
Cao spent nearly eight years at HyperX, holding roles focused on esports and partnerships including Influencer Marketing and Partnerships Manager, Esports Sponsorship Supervisor and Esports Sponsorship Specialist. Prior to HyperX, she worked at Blizzard Entertainment in community and collegiate esports coordination, including projects with Tespa.
In her new role at ASUS, Cao’s responsibilities will include negotiating sponsorship deals, overseeing campaign requirements and managing partner relationships. She will work with esports teams, tournament organizers, gaming influencers and streamers, community groups and universities, and coordinate campaign and broadcast activations tied to ASUS programs.
The appointment follows recent Republic of Gamers activity. ROG announced ROG Masters North America 2026, a grassroots tournament for players in the United States and Canada, and revealed a partnership with South Korean organization T1 to produce co-branded NVIDIA GeForce RTX graphics cards. Global Esports Industry Week is scheduled for June 18–21, 2026, in Cologne, Germany alongside IEM Cologne.
Gaming hardware brands have increased investment in creator communities, college gaming and longer-term esports agreements, expanding opportunities for sponsorship and campus programs.
