9Z, Team Spirit Advance at PGL Astana 2026; Two Eliminated
9Z beat Falcons and MOUZ to become the first team to advance at PGL Astana 2026. Team Spirit won its third straight match to also qualify; Fisher College and K27 were eliminated.
Day 3 of PGL Astana 2026 was held in Astana as group-stage play continued. Two teams secured advancement to the knockout stage while two teams were eliminated.
9Z defeated Falcons and MOUZ on Day 3 to become the first team to advance from the group stage.
Team Spirit recorded its third consecutive win and secured the second guaranteed spot in the knockout rounds.
Gentle Mates beat Heroic 2-0. The defeat leaves Heroic one loss away from elimination. Gentle Mates require one more win to reach qualification and still have an additional match remaining.
Aurora beat PARIVISION. Aurora sits one win from advancing; PARIVISION must win all remaining matches to keep qualification hopes alive.
G2 lost to MongolZ, and Falcons defeated Monte. Several teams hold 1-1 records, keeping the group standings closely contested ahead of the final fixtures.
Fisher College and K27 were eliminated after failing to win the matches they needed; neither team will progress to the knockout stage.
Group play continues with remaining matches deciding the final qualifiers. Advancement will be determined by teams’ records and head-to-head results.
